Voyage a Quebec 2010
November 11-14
In November, fifteen students from the Trinity Catholic French classes traveled to Quebec City and Montreal to experience the language and culture of Quebec. After their long ride to Quebec City, the students began their journey at Les Galeries de la Capital and the Mega-Parc. The Mega-Parc is an indoor amusement park located in a shopping mall. The following day, the students went on a tour of Quebec City learning about the city’s unique history and culture and visiting the Montmorency waterfalls and the Shrine of Saint-Anne. On Saturday, the students traveled to Montreal where they had a tour of the city to learn about its culture and history. Following the tour the students were able to explore the city and eat traditional quebecois foods. The trip was a great success and we look forward to future trips to expand on the curriculum of the classroom.

The World Language Department works to plan opportunities that will further enhance students understanding of the culture of the target language as well as provide opportunities for students to practice the use of the target language whenever possible.
