Course Description

       French III reinforces the skills and concepts introduced in French I and II.  Students will use conversation and the study of literature to gain proficiency in speaking, writing, listening, and reading.  Short stories will help reading comprehension and vocabulary building. Cultural awareness will be presented through a variety of activities and will represent a diversity of francophone cultures.  We will also discuss the history and development of France.  Our first novel, Le Petit Prince, will be introduced in this course.  There will be a strong focus on student interaction and participation in this course and students are expected to speak in French and continue to challenge themselves everyday.  Your enrollment in this course should signify your dedication to learning the French language.
