Course Description

        Spanish I is a beginner Spanish course, which will use the four pillars of language study (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to introduce vocabulary and basic grammatical structures of the Spanish language.  In addition, students will develop a cultural understanding of Spain, Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries.  Interactive and communicative activities and projects will be used throughout the course.  Homework completion and active, meaningful class participation are essential elements of this class.
