Course Description


      Spanish III is an intermediate Spanish course, focusing on the development of speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in Spanish, as well as cultural understanding.  This course will provide a study of the Spanish language and culture, building on principles learned in Spanish II, and will prepare the students for advanced language courses.  The class is designed to increase students’ proficiency in all areas of language development through communicative and interactive class activities as well as written expression, research projects, and oral presentations.  Students will be expected to speak Spanish at all times.  Homework completion, as well as active and meaningful class participation, are essential elements of this class.  Personal student involvement and dedication to learning are expected of all students in this course.
