Trinity Catholic High School
Campus Ministry
Liturgy and Prayer
Overview

Through liturgies, prayer services, and morning community gatherings, we foster a deeper understanding of the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist, and our rootedness in the Catholic tradition. The Campus Minister coordinates the liturgy and prayer life of the school, along with the assistance of student leaders, faculty, and administration. All community members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the programs.

Liturgy of the Word Service

On Monday morning we gather as an entire school community in Our Lady's Church with a Liturgy of the Word service. Students and faculty lead the community in prayer. The previous Sunday's Gospel is read and reflected on to make it relevant to the school community.

Matthew 18:15-20 --- reflection by: Christine Lai, class of 2009 (10/15/2007)

Community Gathering

Each morning of the week we gather as a community in the school auditorium to light the Christ candle, read morning prayer and hear daily announcements.

Masses

We celebrate Holy Feast Days and other important community days with Masses in Our Lady's church. Often we are joined by The Jackson School (a local Catholic elementary school) and members of the parish. Students and faculty members serve as lectors, altar servers, eucharistic ministers, and choir members.
