| Overview
The Campus Ministry office offers retreats throughout the year. Each class retreat is directly tied to the Theology curriculum for that grade level and is planned by both the campus minister and theology teacher. Retreats are ways for the grades to come together outside of the classroom and build community. All class retreats are free of charge to the students. Optional overnight retreats often have a minimal cost. |

Kairos Retreat
There are two Kairos retreats each year (November and March). The retreat is open, by application, to all sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This weekend long retreat provides a time and place to allow students to find God active and present in their own everyday life, as well as in the lives of the people around them. Talks and small group discussions encourage participants to question their faith and the direction of their lives. Prayer, an awareness of the sacramentality of the experience, and the participants' involvement in the discussions and other activities are essential elements of the weekend. Each retreat is led by the Campus Minister, a team of 4 faculty members, and 5 student members who have all participated in Kairos weekend before. Student leaders are chosen by application. Applications can be found on the main Campus Ministry page prior to each retreat. November 16-18, 2007 @ SkyHy Retreat Center, Maine March 28-30, 2008 @ SkyHy Retreat Center, Maine |
